The Inner Layer: Just inside that outer circle, there is a second layer of 3 eggs forming a small triangle.
The Hidden Center: Underneath that middle triangle, there is 1 final egg right in the very center that acts as a base for the others.
Why it’s a “Test”
The question “12 or 13?” is a psychological trick. Most people count the 12 eggs they see clearly on the surface. Because the eggs are all the same color and have similar shadows, the eye often skips the egg at the very bottom of the pile.
