I just found this stuff on my bed, it scares me a little, what is it?

Picture this: You walk into your bedroom, ready to relax, when you stumble upon strange red-brown objects on your bed. You pick them up: small, capsule-shaped, shiny, and unfamiliar. Immediately, concern takes over. Are they insect eggs? Strange seeds? Medicines? Or something more serious?

1. Softgels (supplements or medications)
The shape and color resemble common softgels, such as fish oil, vitamin E, or krill oil supplements. They come off easily and can slip into the litter box unnoticed. If you or someone you know takes supplements, check to see if there’s a match.

2. Seeds
It’s less likely, but some seeds, such as pomegranate or date seeds, can have a smooth, dark appearance. However, seeds generally have a more fibrous or opaque texture, unlike the shiny, gelatinous surface seen here.

3. Insect exuviae or feces?

This is a common fear: thinking it’s something related to insects. Fortunately, these objects don’t resemble insect eggs, larvae, or excrement. Most insect eggs are white or translucent and irregularly shaped. In this case, the objects are too uniform and shiny to be organic insect matter.

4. Edible Candy or Beads
Some candies or food decorations used in cooking may look similar. However, the likelihood of them suddenly appearing on a bed without food is very low.
