Oven-Roasted Chicken / Turkey (Perfect & Not Burnt)
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken or turkey
4 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter (softened)
4 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp parsley & coriander
Salt and black pepper
Juice of ½ lemon
Thyme or rosemary (optional)

Mix olive oil, butter, garlic, lemon juice, and all spices.
Rub the chicken well inside and outside.
Let it marinate for at least 1 hour (overnight is best).
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Place the chicken on a rack over a roasting pan.
Cover loosely with aluminum foil.
Roast for 1 hour (depending on size).
Remove foil and roast 15–20 minutes more to brown.
Important Tips (So It Doesn’t Burn):
Do not use very high heat.
Always cover at the beginning.
Baste with juices if needed.
If it browns too fast, cover again.
